Why we started
We care about the world-bettering work done by nonprofits, and we saw a gap in the services nonprofits rely on to grow stronger. That gap?
Low-cost grant writers are abundant, but they cannot advise on grants strategy, run grants campaigns, nor restructure the way nonprofits parse their programming in order to maximize funding opportunities. On the other hand, strategic services offered by former foundation or nonprofit executives can cost $150-$300 per hour, immediately excluding most nonprofits, and making in-depth or long-term collaborations impossible.
Firefly Fundraising was founded in 2000 to fill this gap. We’ve been providing highly strategic, cost-effective grant services ever since.
